Buffalo

Our buffalo herd stems from Thaba Tholo stock. We bought our first herd from them in 2008. We have grown our herd to over 70 animals now. During our buffalo journey, we have had a number of breeding bulls.

Our first bull came from Thaba Tholo. He was a solid 42” bull with a massive body and outstanding presence. He was followed by Addo. Addo measured 44 1/2 ” and came to us from the Eastern Cape. He had the most amazing temperament and calmed the entire herd. He was followed by Shaka, a 45 6/8” bull.

We recently spit our herd into two and we now have Byson who measures 47 6/8” and comes from Hoopstad. Our second herd has Motswari who is a young son of the famous Matetsi. He measures 45 3/8 at a mere 6 years of age.
