Spiral horns at ubhejane

"The greater kudu, with his massive yet delicate spirals of deep nutmeg brown, tipped with almost translucent ivory, seems to me the handsomest." Peter Hathaway Capstick

Our spirals horns

No matter how many times you see them, or how many you have, the kudu takes your breath away with its quiet beauty. The cows with their big brown eyes and satellite ears. The bulls with their impressive horn that reach for the sky. We have two kudu herds at Ubhejane Wildlife. We have focused on choosing breeding bulls with spread and large bodies. We have Nyumbu Wildlife and Castle De Wildt genetics from Iron Man in our herds.

In addition to the kudu, we have a herd of nyala that keep our trees trimmed. We use them in our corridor camps and they thrive in our bushveld environment.
